Description
Prunus persica. Frost Peach is the peach you can grow in rainy cold climates! It came from a seedling at the WSU Mount Vernon testing station. It shows excellent disease resistance and will ripen fruit where other peaches fail – namely the maritime northwest. These are delicious yellow-fleshed semi-freestone peaches. Self fertile trees grow 10-14’ in size. Plant in the warmest spot you have and thin the fruit when it is small for best results.
