A delicious heirloom plum that has been grown and favored in England as early as 1676. Yellow Egg Plum has sweet yellow moderately firm flesh and bright tart skin. Excellent for both fresh eating and jam. It is self-fertile and highly productive. Like many fruits it will produce more if planted with a different variety of European Plum.
