A hardy evergreen guava! Sometimes known as ‘Feijoa’ these bushes will produce fruit once mature if given a warm spot. Plant multiple to ensure pollination. Has incredibly beautiful and tasty edible flowers as well. Grows naturally as a 6 to 8 foot bush. Withstands pruning well and can be kept to any size. A beautiful landscape plant, often planted as a hedge. Has attractive bark particularly visible when trained to tree form. Easy to grow, disease free, and extremely drought tolerant once established. Most productive with irrigation. These are seedlings of named varieties that are productive in the Northwest of large fruit.
