Avalon Pride Peach was discovered as a seedling in Issaquah, WA by Margaret Proud. Avalon Pride is a highly-flavored, yellow-fleshed, semi-freestone peach great for preserves, pies, poaching or eating fresh. It is a late-blooming yet early-ripening variety that is resistant to peach leaf curl, making it a good variety to grow in western Washington.
