The Liberty apple is most disease resistant apple variety available. Liberty also has a delicious crispness, good sweet/tart balanced flavor (tending more to tartness), and stores well. Highly resistant to scab, mildew, cedar apple rust and fireblight. Red fruit with great yields every year. A top choice!

Pollination: Self-fertile. Plant with a compatible variety to achieve better yields. Macoun will not work.
Time to productivity: 2-3 years depending on conditions.
Ripening time: Mid September to Early October.
Storage length: Will keep for approximately 4 months in proper conditions.
