Description
Ugni molinae. A unique small evergreen berry bush, the Chilean Guava is hardy to about 10º F and produces tasty little red berries that can be eaten straight off the bush or made into a gourmet jam. These plants need full sun to produce and survive in the PNW. They are self fertile but can be planted en mass as a hedge or block for a wonderful effect. Can also be grown easily as a container plant if given plenty of fertility. 3-4' tall. Zone 8-11.
