Chandler produces the biggest blueberries that exist! These are the size of a big cherry. This variety is a u-pick and market staple, providing a long mid-summer season of firm, delicious, sweet fruit on a bush with ornamental leaves that turn a bright red in the fall. Bushes are about 6′ tall and high yielding. Self-pollinating but set largest crops from cross-pollination with another variety.

Description

Vaccinium corymbosum. Chandler produces the biggest blueberries that exist! These are the size of a cherry. The fruit is sweet, firm, and excellent for fresh eating, baking, or preserves. Chandler’s exceptionally long harvest period spans 6–7 weeks from mid to late summer. Its a standout among blueberry varieties. Bushes are vigorous, productive, and also highly ornamental, with brilliant red foliage in fall.
