Chandler produces the biggest blueberries that exist! These are the size of a big cherry. This variety is a u-pick and market staple, providing a long mid-summer season of firm, delicious, sweet fruit on a bush with ornamental leaves that turn a bright red in the fall. Bushes are about 6′ tall and high yielding. Self-pollinating but set largest crops from cross-pollination with another variety.

Pollination: Self-fertile but should be grown with a second variety to produce more berries.

Time to productivity: 2-3 years from planting, depending on conditions.

Ripening time: Late July

Size: Older plants can get to be 6′ tall.
