Loganberry. A thornless hybrid of red raspberry and blackberry, producing large, deep maroon berries with a rich, tangy-sweet flavor. Excellent for fresh eating, pies, preserves, and syrup. Trailing canes grow up to 10 feet and benefit from trellis support; tie vines to a horizontal wire between posts and trim canes back to about 6 feet for tidier growth. Plants can be spaced 8 feet apart or closer and may yield up to 30 lbs per plant. Hardy and self-fertile, thriving in full sun with well-drained soil.
