Rosey Glow is a more highly colored variety of Pink Lady® This is a crisp, late-season dessert apple with glossy pink-red skin over a yellow-green base. Interestingly all the Pink Lady® apples sold in grocery stores are only 10% of the total crop which has passed testing to meet a standard of color and acid balance. The rest of the crop is sold as 'Cripps Pink', which is the true name of the variety. Developed in Western Australia from a cross of Lady Williams and Golden Delicious, it combines firm, fine-grained flesh with a sweet-tart flavor and floral undertones. The fruit is excellent for fresh eating, salads, and baking, and it stores well. The tree is moderately vigorous and has good production.

Pollination: Requires a different apple variety for cross-pollination; not self-fertile. Golden Delicious will not work as a pollinator.
Time to productivity: 2–3 years depending on conditions.
